The Green Lion Gallery will be holding its first show; ”D-Bags and Dimwits” a group show paying tribute to contrasting characters, animated or otherwise, who project personalities of sinister cruelty and simpleminded doltishness. by Alan Close, Johnny Clauson, Dusa, SOBA, Jevon “Paycheck” Dismuke, Erwin Erkfitz, Rueben Garcia and a few more.
The show is set to open Saturday, April 9. Please join us for our opening reception!

Last winter a crew and I hit up a wall for the filming of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Val Kilmer’s new movie GUN. Its a short scene but it made the cut.

Exhibition> Procession

The Mustache Gallery will host Procession; a playful exercise in Sumi ink portraits from my imagination.
This exhibit will be a collection of medium sized ink wash paintings on panel, that explore characters and repeated patterns found in my other works.
The small series will grow over the years and this is the first six portraits. Directly related to The Ancestrals show that I had this past April the characters and styles explore religious and spiritual iconography;
referencing Indian culture, classic Renaissance techniques to modern technologies and ideas. I hope you enjoy the glimpse into my inner workings and join me for the opening.
